Praying for the Diocese 2014: Killoran - Coolaney, Co. Sligo. The parish of Killoran is in the centre of Co. Sligo on the southern side of the Ox Mountains. It is part of the barony of Leyney. The Parish Church is situated in Rockfield, dedicated to the Sacred Heart & St. Joseph. The Jesuit motto is inscribed on the gable "Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam"- meaning "For the greater glory of God". Across the road is Scoil Chriost Ri, educating 173 children. There are two Community Centres, one in Coolaney & the other in Killoran, a Community Park where many sporting activiities take place. Congratulations to the pupils of 1st & 2nd class in Scoil Iosa who won 1st prize at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Ballaghaderreen with their play 'Pluirin Sneachta' and Congratulations also to Eddie Dooney, Lismulgee who won the Environmental award. Well done to Carracastle Fife & Drum Band, Scoil Iosa school band & the Pre & After School who also participated in the Parades.

Suicide SafeTALK: Learn four basic steps to recognise people with thoughts of suicide and connect them with suicide helping resources.
