Carracastle Cemetery Mass will be on next Sunday 4th August at 11.30am, Bank Holiday weekend, if raining Mass will be in the Church. After Mass The Gathering Committee invite everyone to join a procession to the community centre following the Fife and Drum band where a community photo will be taken. This is a re-enactment of the Temperance photo from 1912 as dislayed in Davys.Tea & scones in the Community Centre. Please spread the word. Envelopes will be distributed to ask your annual contribution towards maintenance.

The Irish Cancer Society's Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in Galway University Hospital. Drivers will pick local patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home.
