Band Meeting in Community Centre on Monday 29th Sept. at 9pm. All members please attend.

Collooney is the focus parish of our prayer this week. To do the Father's will is the call of every Christian, every follower of Jesus. When we pray the 'Our Father' we ask that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Doing the will of God is accepting that God knows better than we do what is for our good. God sees the whole picture, our vision is limited, so why not let God be our sure guide. God always has our best interests at heart. To do God's will is to live in obedience to God knowing that in working with and alongside the Lord, life finds fulfilment and peace. Accepting the Father's will, 'Father ... your will be done', the night before his suffering and death gave Jesus the courage to face the darkest, most frightening time of his life. Will God, our Father, do less for you or I if we entrust ourselves to his will? We are praying for our diocese because .... we believe that through prayer, God, our Father, will guide us to the fulfilment of his will and support us in the building of his kingdom in ourselves, our parishes and our diocese.
