Annual Dublin-Achonry Pilgrimage takes place on this Sunday 19th May to Knock Shrine. Anointing of the Sick at 2.30pm. Mass begins at 3pm. It is hoped that many parishioners from each parish will join the Pilgrimage as we continue to celebrate the Year of Faith.

The Parish Pastoral Council deeply appreciates the contribution those who carry out particular ministries make to the celebration of the Eucharist and strongly encourages more parishioners to become involved. Lists of the various ministries (e.g.Choirs, Saturday evening Folkgroup, Flowers, Reader, Minister of Holy Communion, Offertory Collectors, Gifts, Church Decoration, Prayer of the Faithful, Maintenance etc.) will be distributed in both Churches by Council members to be completed there and then and returned to them at Masses next weekend

The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to & from their chemotherapy treatments in Galway University Hospital. They are looking for volunteers from all over counties Galway, north Clare, Mayo & Roscommon to pick patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment & bring them home.
