Traditional Music Classes: Registration for the next term of traditional music classes at Craobh Sheosaimh Mhic Ghabhainn C.C.E. will take place in Kilmovee Community Centre on Monday 9th September between 7:30pm-8:30pm. All traditional instruments catered for as well as all levels from beginners to advanced.
Trócaire's door-to-door Fundraisers will be in the area for a couple of days during Sept./Oct.  The fundraisers are clearly identifiable as the will be wearing a blue branded Trócaire jacket.  Also, each fundraiser will be carrying photo ID. The purpose of their visit in the area is to raise awareness of the work Trócaire does & to ask people if they would like to support Trócaire with a monthly direct debit. Trócaire works with the poorest families & communities in Africa, Asia & Latin America helping to build better futures.  Please support this campaign if you can.
Swinford Swimming Club: Registration for Adult Swimming Lessons will be held on Wednesday 4th September at 8.15pm at Aras Attracta Pool, Swinford. The lessons will run for 7 weeks at a cost of €56 on Monday & Wednesday nights commencing the week beginning 9th September. Anam Cara Parental Support Meeting on Wednesday 4th September from 19:30 to 21:00 at The Ballybane Enterprise Centre, Galway. This event is free, open to all bereaved parents and each Anam Cara support group has a bereavement therapist present to answer any questions parents may have and signpost them to other services that are available in the area. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a 2-day skills-based workshop with an emphasis on helping a person at imminent risk stay safe & to seek further help. Mayo North East in collaboration with the National Office for Suicide Prevention will provide ASIST training in the Foxford Sports and Leisure Centre on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd October from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
