Trócaire's door-to-door Fundraisers will be in the area for a couple of days during Sept./Oct. The fundraisers are clearly identifiable as they will be wearing a blue branded Trócaire jacket. Also, each fundraiser will be carrying photo ID. The purpose of their visit in the area is to raise awareness of the work Trócaire does & to ask people if they would like to support Trócaire with a monthly direct debit. Trócaire works with the poorest families & communities in Africa, Asia & Latin America helping to build better futures. Please support this campaign if you can.

World Suicide Prevention Day: A vigil will be held in the Garden of Remembrance, Market Street Ballaghaderreen on Tuesday 10th September @7:30pm followed by light refreshments in the Community Resource Centre. To remember our loved ones who have died by suicide, contemplated suicide or been affected by suicide.
