Derrynanaff. Reposing at Sharkey's Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Saturday
16th March from 9.30am with removal at 10.30am to Carracastle Church for Funeral
Mass at 11am followed by burial in Carracastle cemetery. Sympathy to his family
circle. Tommy Regan, Nottingham and formerly of Craggagh who died Friday 8th
March. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Sympathy to his extended
family especially to his wife Margaret, daughter Philomena, sisters Bridie &
Mary, brothers Dominick & Frank, predeceased by his brother Michael. We
remember all whose anniversaries occur at this time

3 Act Hilarious Play ‘The Maiden Aunt’ in Carracastle Community Centre Friday
March 29th (Good Friday night).
Mayo Stroke Awareness Month: A joint
venture between local Heart & Stroke Charity Croí, Mayo PCCC, HSE West and
Mayo General Hospital will see the month of March designated as Mayo Stroke
Awareness Month. This campaign stems from the ongoing partnership between Croí
& Mayo HSE on the ‘Mayo Action on Heart Disease & Stroke’ programme,
which aims to reduce the impact of heart disease & stroke in the county. The
main aim of this month-long campaign is to raise awareness about stroke in Mayo,
& to communicate key messages on how to recognise a stroke and what you can
do to prevent stroke, and to promote the Stroke F.A.S.T. Campaign. A public talk
on Stroke awareness & prevention will be held on the 14th March in Hotel
Ballina, at 8pm. Mayo General Hospital will also host two public information
days to promote the key messages of the Stroke F.A.S.T. campaign in the main
foyer of Mayo General Hospital on the 11th  14th of March from 10am to 3pm.

Concert in Kilmovee Community Centre
on
Friday March 15th at 8.30pm.  Fr James McDonagh & friends will provide the
entertainment. The concert is a fundraiser by the Urlaur Pattern Committee in
preparation for the "The Gathering" which will take place around the weekend of
the Pattern (August 4th). Admission €5.
