Trócaire: In Syria over 100,000 people have lost their lives after two years of war & over 8.4m people – approximately half of whom are children - are in need of humanitarian assistance. The situation faced by the people of Syria is the worst humanitarian crisis in a generation.
Trócaire is working in partnership with local church agencies in Syria and along neighbouring borders to support survivors. Since 2011, vital emergency aid has reached over 273,000 people. A collection to support the people of Syria will be taken up at all masses next weekend 16/17 Nov. Your support will help to get essential services & supports to those most in need.
Scoil Iosa Grounds: It has come to the attention of the Board of Management that the school grounds are being used outside of school time for activities ie. football etc. & the evidence shows that the windows & school walls are targets of such activities. The Board of Management has already a sign on the school gate that nobody without permission enter the school grounds outside of school time & requests that this be respected.

Mass for Bereaved Parents: There will be a special mass for all parents who are grieving the death of a child held in Knock on this Sunday Nov. 10th at 3p.m. It will take place in St John's Rest and Care Centre and the celebrant will be Fr James Ronayne, Clifden. All are welcome
