Annual Eucharistic All night Vigil to celebrate The Gift of Faith at end of Year of Faith & to give thanks for the gift of life from conception to natural death on Dec. 7th in Knock Shrine beginning with confessions at 10pm. Main celebrant is Fr Tony Little C.S.Sp also Fr. Michael Ross D.B.S. & Guest homilist is Fr. Michael Shields PP. of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, from Magadan, in the Kolyma Region of Siberia. Soloist James Kilbane & Deirdre Parle. Offertory Collection this week-end will be forwarded to Trocaire to support its work in Syria & the Philippines. Thanking you for your contributions.
Parish Ministries - The Parish Pastoral Council acknowledges & wishes to encourage the contribution all members make to the parish in so many ways. In particular we acknowledge & deeply appreciate the contribution to our parish celebrations especially the Eucharist. These celebrations are enriched by those who carry out particular ministries. During Masses this weekend we are inviting & encouraging more Parishioners to become involved.
Carracastle Foroige Club are having a winter movie night for children aged 4-12 yrs Fri. 22nd Nov 7:30pm in Community Centre. Adm €3, refreshments for children & adults provided.

Caiseal Gaels AGM takes place on Wednesday 20th Nov. at 8 pm in Carracastle Community Centre. Everybody welcome to attend.
The 100 Years of Drama event in Town Hall Arts Centre, Charlestown, on Sat. Nov. 23rd & Sun. Nov. 24th, from 3pm - 6pm each day. The exhibition will also include the unveiling of a special tribute to the producer and director behind so many of the Society’s successful productions, the late Paddy Henry. Adm is free, everyone is welcome.
Carers Association & the Mayo Volunteer Centre will be hosting the Carers Appreciation Day for family carers throughout the county (both present and former) in Breaffy House Hotel Tues, 26th Nov. 11am – 3pm.The day is designed as an open expo to allow individuals to come/go as their time allows & is intended to honour and “Thank You” for the work you do! There will be information, supports useful to the caring role, health checks, pamper treatments, refreshments, and a few short talks on Caring for Yourself. Admission is FREE and all are welcome! The Mayo Stroke Support Group in association with Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation will hold its next meeting, a social Christmas Event on Thurs 28th Nov. in the Museum of Country Life, Turlough between 11.30am - 2pm.
