All Saints Day - Friday November 1st Mass Times: Rooskey 10am; Carracastle 8pm
All Souls Day - Saturday November 2nd. Mass at 10am in Rooskey and 8pm in Carracastle. Candles will be available to be brought forward by family members to remember those whose funerals took place in both churches during the past year and all our loved ones now departed.
Rosary in the Cemetery following 11.30 mass on Sunday Nov. 3rd, weather permitting.
November Envelopes for the Remembrance of our Faithful Departed are at churches doors.
Prayers for the Dead – From 12 0'clock noon on 1st Nov. until midnight on 2nd Nov. all who have confessed, received Holy Communion, & prayed for the Pope's intentions can gain one plenary indulgence by visiting a church or oratory & there reciting one Our Father & the Apostle's Creed. Visiting a cemetery & praying for the dead may gain a plenary indulgence applicable only to the Holy Souls on the usual conditions once per day from 1st - 8th Nov. Caiseal Gaels Hurling Club sincerely thank Kathleen O'Donnell, Brusna Inn for sponsoring training tops which were presented to the U16 team of 2012 to mark the winning of the clubs first A title.

Fashion Show Charlestown TYs are presenting a Fashion Show on the 8th November at 8pm. The show is taking please in the CBD Complex, Charlestown. The tickets are €10 and they can be bought at the door on the night or from any Charlestown TY student.
Autism – The Irish Autism Society would like to thank all who gave so generously to the churchgate collection last weekend. A total of €458 was collected.
Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Professional Bereavement Talk at the Ballybane Enterprise Centre, Galway on Wed. 6th Nov. from 7:30 to 9:30. This event is open to all bereaved parents & offers an opportunity to hear a professional with in-depth experience of parental bereavement talk about the effects of grief on the family after the death of a son or daughter. This event is offered free of charge to parents to book a place or for further information please contact [email protected] call 01 4045378.
Ballaghaderreen Mental Health Association will be holding a meeting in the CDP office, The Shambles, Ballaghaderreen, on Tuesday 29th October 2013 at 7:00pm. All Welcome.
Fetac Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support - Healthcare Support Fetac Level 5 will begin on Mon. 25th Nov. in the Community Resource Centre, The Shambles, Ballaghaderreen. This is a full time course lasting 40 weeks. Course Modules: Care Skills, Care Support, Career Planning & Job Seeking Skills, Induction, Patient Handling, Safety & Health at Work, Work Practice Healthcare.
