Bohola is the focus parish of our prayer for the coming week. 'Be steadfast in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God. Pray for us especially, asking God to throw open a door for us to announce the message and proclaim the mystery of Christ.' [Colossians 4:2-3] We are praying for our diocese because .... we desire to better understand the Word of God and its valuable teaching which we need as disciples of Jesus. 'Make me more aware of my vocation to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, dedicated to his mission of making you known among those with whom I live and work. As disciples of Jesus we ask you, Father, to help us renew our parishes so that all will experience the joy of belonging to your family of faith .....' [Diocesan Prayer] Father, open our spiritual ears to truly hear in order to obey.
